| DAY 1 |
Leh - Spituk - Stok - Stok-La (4 hours) Drive from Leh to Spituk. Trek starts on the left bank of the stream, after 2 hours climb gently and up a small valley. O/N in tent |
| DAY 2 |
Stok-La - Rumbak (4 hours) Long and steep ascent to the Stok-La (4'900m, 16'076ft). Descend and reach a plain until Rumbak village which is beautifully set surrounded by mountains. O/N in tent. |
| DAY 3 |
Rumbak - Zingchen (4 hours) Today's trek descends through a narrow gorge and the stream has to be crossed several times. O/N in tent at Zingchen village. |
| DAY 4 |
Zingchen - Spituk (5 hours) Trek downstream for a couple of hours, then walk on the wide plateau to Spituk. Drive back to Leh. |
